At Eagle Montessori Teaching Academy, our mission is to prepare adults for the transformative process of becoming Montessori educators who are culturally sensitive, creative, and responsive to the needs of children and families. Our Montessori teacher training program is dedicated to training teachers with the fundamental principles upon which Maria Montessori centered her philosophy, providing our learners with a positive learning environment, enriched with opportunities to work and learn with highly qualified Montessori teachers.
Montessori education has helped children flourish for over 100 years, but when many prospective teachers contact us, they know little about it (and that’s okay!). What these aspiring teachers do know is that they are seeking something different.
The Montessori Early Childhood program offered by EMTA provides a comprehensive preparation for adult learners who have the desire to work with young children ages 2 ½ – 6 years implementing the Montessori philosophy and materials in a classroom with mixed age groupings.
